  I've driven I-17 about a thousand times, but it wasn't until the March '18 issue of AZ Highways, and an article/photos of scenery just off the interstate that I was prompted to stop and explore. So glad I did!
  Classic beautiful AZ desert, with saguaro and ocotillo - and vistas that seem to go on forever. Terrain is well marked and easy - such a lovely diversion from the flight "down the hill" . Will definitely go back.
